With over 30 years of private practice experience maintaining offices simultaneously in New York City and Washington, DC, I have considerable experience using both the telephone as well as the computer as adjuncts to traditional face to face counseling.  They are excellent options for providing you sound, competent and confidential services. In addition to my academic training which includes Masters and Ph.D. degrees from Columbia University and The Union Graduate School (Antioch College), I am certified as a psychoanalyst and addictions counselor.  Additionally, I have been trained in collaborative law and mediation.  I am particularly experienced and skilled at helping couples resolve their interpersonal difficulties.  I was President and cofounder of the first center for midlife women in Washington, DC.  I am a nationally featured speaker on radio and TV.
