Welcome.  Are you dealing with difficult problems in your life?  All of us, as humans, are faced with many issues, challenges and roadblocks at different times.  These may take the forms of relationship issues, financial problems, family problems, abuse, addiction, depression, and many others.  As a counselor, I help clients explore feelings, options, and possible solutions.  As your counselor, I would form a healing alliance with you to help you discern the next steps in your journey to lead a healthy and empowered life. My hope and goal for all my clients is to help them become more resilient, to deal more effectively with the emotional, spiritual and relationship challenges in their lives, becoming stronger in the process.  My basic approach to life and therapy is one of hope, respect and compassion.  In addition to being a skilled listener, I can help you develop or refine skills to communicate more effectively, cope better with difficult situations, clarify your values and feelings, and support yourself emotionally while you make changes in your life.

I have worked as a professional counselor for the past 23 years.  After earning a master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology, I began a career which has included work with a wide variety of people facing many different kinds of problems and situations.  I have counseled individuals and couples, and have led many different kinds of groups - in private practice, outpatient treatment programs, and crisis intervention services.
